
1 ONION PEELED AND CHOPPPED
1 TABLESPOON COOKING OIL
350g EXTRA LEAN MINCED BEEF
500g JAR OF BOLOGNESE SAUCE
Fry the onion in the oil until soft then add the mince and cook for 5mins
Add the sauce and season to your taste
Then cover the mixture and simmer for 20mins
Pre heat the oven to Gas 5 190˚C 375˚F
25g BUTTER
25g PLAIN FLOUR
300ml MILK
175g LASAGNE SHEETS
Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the flour and cook gently for 1min
Remove from the heat and ad the milk
Stir the sauce over a low heat until thickened & remove from the heat.
275g MOZZARELLA CHEESE, SLICED
25g PARMESAN CHEESE, FRESHLY GRATED
Spread a 3rd of the meat over the base of an ovenproof dish.
Then a 3rd of the sauce
Cover with a 3rd of the Mozzarella cheese
Repeat the layering twice more
Spoon the sauce over the top, then sprinkle with the Parmesan
Bake in the oven for 45mins.
