...Clean copper items. Sprinkle a little salt and vinegar on a cloth and rub lightly over. Then wipe with a clean wet cloth. A lemon cut in half and rubbed over will also clean brass and copper back to a lovely shine.


...Clean mould off the shower tiles. Rub the area with vinegar and bleach solution, leave a few hours then rinse and dry

...Keep your bathroom mirror de-misted. Fill the washbasin half full of cold water before your shower and the glass will stay mainly clear.


...Make the fridge fresh again; wipe the inside with a damp cloth soaked in small amount of vinegar.

...Clear a stale odour in the fridge. Wash well in a solution of bicarbonate of soda and hot water. If  any trace remains, place an open container of bicarbonate of soda in the fridge to help it disperse.


...To remove candle wax. Put whatever it is stuck to, in the freezer until it becomes brittle and can be easily removed

...Remove chewing gum. Place an ice cube over the gum until it becomes hard and brittle, it can then be removed with a knife or scraper. If on clothing put in the freezer for 20mins first.
