
175g PLAIN FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
175g SOFT LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
175g BUTTER
2 LARGE EGGS BEATEN
175g PORRIDGE OATS
100g RAISINS
Pre heat oven to Gas 4 180˚C / 350˚F
Line baking sheets with greaseproof paper.
Cream the butter and sugar together to a thick cream consistency.
Gradually whisk in the eggs until thoroughly mixed.
Sift the flour and baking powder together into a mixing bowl.
Gradually beat this into the mixture.
Add the oats and raisins .
Drop rounded teaspoons full of the mixture onto the tray

Flatten slightly with your fingers, or fork
Bake for about 12mins until crisp and brown
Second shelf from the top.
Place on a wire cooling rack when done.
